A New Discussion Group for Grandparents
The Jewish Grandparents Network invites you to their forum
Join a small group to discuss how best to support grandchildren with diverse developmental and learning challenges:
Recently the Jewish Grandparents Network has found that there is tremendous interest among grandparents in connecting with other grandparents who have grandchildren with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other disabilities.
In response to these requests, the Jewish Grandparents Network is pleased to offer a discussion group on this topic. The group will meet on Zoom for three consecutive Tuesdays beginning July 18, 2023, 7:00–8:00 pm Eastern. Participants can share their concerns and questions and brainstorm ideas. The discussion will remain confidential within the group and, of course, JGN will not record it.
The group will meet for one hour on Zoom, 7:00–8:00 pm EST on:
Tuesday, July 18
Tuesday, July 25
Tuesday, August 1
The facilitator is Jo Raphael, LCSW.
The group will be small, capped at 12 participants.
The fee for the 3-week session is $75.
The first 12 people to sign up will receive an email with a secure link to pay the registration fee.
SIGN UP here.
We hope this will provide a chance for you to feel part of a larger community that shares interests, concerns and goals for their relationships with their adult children and grandchildren. The meetings will be times of connection and sharing and are not meant to be seen as therapy or treatment of any kind.
We will continue to find ways to support you in your effort to be the best grandparent and parent you can be.
