From Leslie Epstein Pearson, President, Matan Board of Directors
Editor’s Note: We are thrilled that JDIN Advisory Board Member Meredith Englander Polsky is stepping into a new leadership position and know what amazing wisdom and care she will bring to her new position. May Meredith and Matan go from strength to strength!
Dear Friends and Supporters of Matan,
We are thrilled to announce that Meredith Englander Polsky, Matan’s visionary founder, has been named Executive Director of Matan. For over two decades, Meredith has been a leading voice and expert in the field of Jewish disability inclusion and a passionate advocate for ensuring that every individual and family can participate meaningfully in the Jewish community. Following a national search that brought forward an impressive pool of candidates, it became clear that Meredith’s unique combination of experience, skills, passion, and deep institutional knowledge made her the ideal choice to lead Matan into its next chapter.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Debra Feldstein for her dedicated service as Interim Executive Director over the past 6 months. Debra’s steady leadership and strategic insight have been invaluable during this time of transition. We are thankful for her many contributions and look forward to continuing to benefit from her wisdom and partnership as Meredith steps into this exciting new role.
L’Shalom,
Leslie Epstein Pearson
President, Matan Board of Directors
