About Us
We know that 1 in 4 people have a disability and while our Jewish community has made great strides in disability awareness, acceptance and inclusion, there is much work to do around access, reducing stigma and full belonging.
Jewish Disability Inclusion News is a forum for diverse voices at the intersection of disability inclusion and Jewish life. We share first-person essays, reported articles and essays focusing on all aspects of disability related to Jewish culture and life.
Introducing our Advisory Board:
The Jewish Disability Inclusion News advisory board is composed of individuals working in the realm of Jewish disability inclusion, those who are self-advocates, clergy, educators, writers and other professionals working towards greater accessibility in the Jewish and general community.
The advisory board meets quarterly to discuss the vision and direction of Jewish Disability Inclusion News and provides ongoing insight and critical analysis around editorial content issues as they arise.
